1LE Parts??

Will the the parts from the 1LE be offered through GMs parts departments so that owners with previous model years can fit the parts to there cars?

I've put a good bit of work into my car already to make it my own and have neither the desire nor the money to trade in for a new 1LE SS. I would have to start all over.

If they were for the ZL1, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't for the 1LE. You just have to get the part number. Try contacting Maureen@RodgersChevrolet and see what she can find for you.

Any care to venture an opinion on the ability of the 1LE rear end parts to hold up to boosted power?

I would venture to say it is the same gear as the LPE. The same company makes the GM oem gears as the LPE. I'm sure you could contact LPE for any questions you may have.

I'm sure the gears will hold up fine since they are made by AAM. I'm really curious about the drive shaft though. I'm wondering if it is a two piece drive shaft like the SS, or if they went with a 1 piece.
