Gonna hurt a 5.0's feelings tonight.
So this guy around town that comes around to the car meets has a new 5.0. All that is done to the car is mufflers and a CAI. Everytime I'm around him for the last few months he talks about how the new 5.0 is soooo much faster than the 6.2L camaro.
Well tonight is put up or shut up. Were having a big bash at the dragstrip tonight and he has asked me to race him. Now I guess my car sounds like a race car form the fact that it has longtubes, no cats, and muffler delete. But no one has seen me get on it really I don't race on the street or play too much. As we were leaving the cruise in last night he walked buy and asked if I still wanted to race him. I said yeah of course. He said "well guess you just wanna loose huh" Now I am all about fun and games but he just said it with this smart a** attitude...so tonight I'm gonna shut him up. His car. 5.0 mufflers CaI Stock tires and 6-speed. Me Longtubes CAI Tune 6-speed....and..... Some drag radials!

We only have 1/8th of a mile around here. Last time I went to the track I went 8.4s on street tires but could not get a good launch for the life of me.
