Lowered 1" and race star wheels

I've done some searching but need more info. I am lowered 1" on hotchkis springs...what size race stars can I run on my car for a drag set up?

Ok So going with an 18" wheel in the rear pretty much guarantees no issues with rubbing the lca when launching...now as for the front should I go with the 18x5 or 17x7? Which would be better for a street strip application and which tire size?

With 17x7, you could run a true 215 radial up front.

Brandon runs same size tire (215) up front that a few of us have, Mike N came up with this idea...

Here is a 215/65/17 and a 265/50/18 for comparison:



215/65R17 up front, 305/45R18 in back. Rear rims are 18x9.5:
