Great Cruise
Thanks Michael and Vance we had a lot of fun on the cruise, I just could not keep up with you guys. I put 221 miles on the Camaro, now I have to shut her down for the rest of the month, she needs her rest, ha,ha. Well post pictures soon. I have to wash her tomorrow to get all the dead bugs off for the sunday car Show. thanks again we had lots of fun. Mando & Alice

it was fun Mando - and thanks Alice!
Keeping up was not an issue and I'm glad you drove a speed you were comfortable with. As promised, I waited at all intersection changes Oh, put some miles on her! She won't break! Looking forward to your pictures... Yes, MAJOR wash tomorrow morning for The Beast!

Thanks to Michael for organizing this, and thanks to Armando's wife, Alice, for picking up the lunch tab!
My front end and hood have now been cleared of the bug carnage. My car definitely needs larger sway bars! My average mpg for the drive was 20.7.

Wow! great MPG! Yup, upgrade that suspension! Clean I can't wait for tomorrow morning for the wash!
Until Sunday! No problem! That's one of my motorcycle ride routes - lots of fun! We have to have lunch at Mother's Restaurant when it's open - great food!

Sure - plan it!
Weekends on those back roads are horrible! We hit quite a few sloooow trucks and some slow cars before getting to Palomar mountain. But...go for it! Thanks, Michael J.

ah shucks. well that sucks. nothing like being stuck behind trucks on a weekend cruise. unfortunately i can only do weekends, or afternoons after 2pm on weekdays. I dont know many of the back roads around here, i know of one thats fun to drive out by crest and alpine, and the S8 i think in rancho somethin or other, Via de la valle.
