Question Rally strip package question

Hey all, does anyone know if/when the rally stripe packages for the 2010-2013's will be discontinued?

I've got the matte black but was quite keen to get the grey (Ashen Grey Metallic) stripe package to put it on and was just wondering if I should hurry, or if they'll still be around in a couple months.

You can always go aftermarket if it does

Even if they go away, your dealer will still have them for a while or you can pick up a set from Big Worm Graphix.

Wasn't too keen on aftermarkets, and the closest dealer is roughly 6500 miles away But i'll keep an eye out, thanks

They wont go away any time soon, there's some kind of federal regulation 10 years minimum GM has to have parts available for your vehicle before they can obsolete it.

Ah, I see your on the other half of the blue marble.

Could you work something out through a Holden dealer maybe? Holden and Chevrolet are both under the General Motors banner.

The vinyl is not OEM anyway and some aftermarket companies have the same material the dealers use. My guy used 3M vinyl on my car and he also told me he stripes cars for the dealerships so you can go aftermarket and get the same stuff. Just make sure it's not cheap vinyl and you'll be fine + they can buy the same stripe designs the dealer would use + more options.

I had my decal stripes taken off and had them painted instead. Much better look without the worry of easily getting damaged. Some monster-ass bug splattered all over one of the stripes and it was marred forever.

It's only been 3 years, and MANY parts for the Solstice line have been discontinued by GM
