Removing power steering pulley

Has anyone ever removed their power steering pulley? Does it require a special tool?

Thanks

are you planning on pulling the pump as well?

There is a pully removal/install tool that you can rent/buy to get the pulley off.

or IIRC, you can use a 13 mm to loosen the two bolts behind the pulley till you can work the pump forward enough to fit a 15mm wrench in to pull the rest of the bolts

I used a standard power steering pump pulley removal tool for GM and it work fine. The Pulley has a groove much like the older style power steering pump pulleys.

Yes, you'll need a tool kit similar to this to remove/reinstall it...
