Is this right?
So a while back I sold my stock LS3 cam on here. A month after the thing is sold I get a text from the buyer saying one of the lobes was trashed. I told him I wasn't gonna give him a refund because c'mon a month later....really? He then goes on to claim that he hadn't even opened the box until a month later which I believe is BS. Still I told him no so he went to Paypal and filed a claim against me. He gave his side and I gave my side of the story but Paypal opted to give this person a refund after reviewing the case. Fact of the matter is that I sell everything as described and have never had negative feedback on eBay either for selling and the cam was perfect and shipped wrapped in bubble wrap....a lot of it. When I get it back from this guy, it's in a comp cam box that looked to be abused and the cam was not protected in any way inside the box. Do you guys think this is right? Should Paypal have given him his money back?

Right or wrong, always take pictures of used items before shipping.

Take pictures of the item before shipping.
Also it's not always about who is right and who is wrong. It's about a repeat customer doing business with PayPal being happy and doing more business with PayPal. If you weren't hurt financially it isn't your problem and I wouldn't be worried about it. |

That does suck. It's the job of the receiver to check the item. You do this to verify what was sold to you, but not a month later. Sounds like he is bsing

His username on here is baggins...
I agree with you guys on the pics before shipping but still someone here said it's the buyer's job to check the package as soon as they get it and not a month later which I kind of had a feeling he was bsing me and when he sent me the cam in a different comp cams box that made me more suspicious about him having another cam on the side that may have already been trashed but oh well, you live and you learn....
