Wash your car without water...?
So I came across a company known as ecokleancarz they provide wax product as well as rim and wheel care, everything, requiring no water at all. I asked them if the chemicals damaged the paint or anything like that and they said no and all the products are safe. They have pictures of camaros and corvettes that they have cleaned. It's pretty interesting. No more water spots or soap drying too fast or having to wait until the evening/night to wash the camaro. What does the camaro family think ? http://www.ecokleancarz.com/

Essentially a waterless wash that many vendors carry.

Agreed. Theres a number of quality 'waterless wash' products on the market. Case in point: http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-440-a...-car-wash.aspx
Along with that a number of detailing services either started or changed direction to offer 'eco' detailing. They're real popular in beach cities where there are run off restrictions as well as anywhere with water use restrictions/drought. |

Nothing new there. Like nyrfan says, just a waterless wash. Suitable for lightly dusty vehicles. Certainly wouldn't clean a dirty car that way.

How is this different than a diluted car wash product in a squirt bottle?

I think these products mislead a number of people into thinking they can really wash a dirty car with them. The unintended consequences are a bunch of scratches they don't notice until they've built up over a period of time. I had a friend almost 20 years ago tell me he used a waterless wash on his car and I was questioning it then. Going green at the expense of scratching up a paint job isnt worth it and Junkmans videos show the damage.

Yeah I see what you mean. How it wouldn't remove all of the dirt very well

The point is not to remove 'dirt' a waterless wash is really only safe for light dust... if theres large swaths of dirt on the finish then a full hose and bucket wash is still the safest way to go.
