2001 SS HELP

Looking @ purchasing this SS Convertible...63k miles..Texas Car..Loaded All options. Pulled Build sheet = Shows to have WU8 - SS option package...No performace upgrades done to vehicle..Everything works..Top and Weatherstrip are perfect..Minor body work / scratches..Almost perfect interior...Normal bolster wear on drivers site...

He's asking $9500.00

Is this a fair price? Is there anything I should be looking for ??

Send a message via Yahoo to CamaroSpike23

Thats a really good price for the car with the mileage. Make sure it has the WU8 code on the driver's door. Also, if it has any additional SLP options other than the hood, spoiler, and wheels there should be an SLP second sticker on the passenger side door. You will then have the Y2Y rpo code on your driver's door too.

I called SLP to verify the Camaro had additional options beyond hood, spoiler, badges,,,The SLP customer service rep said I had a birth certificate and that I could purchased for 50.00 plus shipping..Certificate would show all adds done @ SLP...I have no problem with buying certificate after I buy the car. He did give me my born on date # 4781...Does anyone know a way to find out ???

Yeah they won't give you the options without the birth certificate, but the fact that the car is #4781 means that it is a real SS. Like my car's SLP number is #7590, meaning its the 7,590th SS built in 2002.

That confirms its a real SS so buy it already haha.
