Ok,
I'm campaigning really hard... but no promises... I registered for the FBody Gathering in Atlanta Ga. in May... I'm not sure if I'll drive the car or pull it but I am certainly going to try to make it.... Looking forward to finally meeting some of you guys from the right coast and seeing the others again... Merc, You guys need to start a Brewery... for commercial purposes... A nice Micro-brewery that caters to eclectic tastes and supports the racing and car mods...

So we went from LCAs to swaybars to....... PQ bobbleheads?

Just had a great phone conversation with the guy that built my transmission...
Contrary to my previous statement, this is a TR6060 Trans... built by Rockland Standard Gear... It was confirmed that with the extended tail shaft housing, all of the shafts are 9310 material, and sixth gear is the only one that isn't 9310... 1st through 5th are 9310 gears... The Gearing is a little different than stock... 1st Gear 2.66 2nd Gear 1.78 3rd Gear 1.30 4th Gear 1.0 5th Gear .80 6th Gear .8563 if I copied the numbers correctly... The ratios below are the Factory gears... 1st: 3.01 2nd: 2.07 3rd: 1.43 4th: 1.00 5th: 0.84 6th: 0.57

That's a really close ratio gearbox!
6th can't be right tho..... .63 maybe? What rear axle ratio did you go with? May be close to the ZL1 gears, or even a bit closer

6th seems odd to me as well. These ratios let him stretch out the engine a bit more. More boost!!!!!

Our hunt was for setting a world recod in the standing mile without having to get out of 5th gear.... The 3.07's will also allow me to stay in 4th for the quarter mile... When stock, I was red lining 3rd or shifting into 4th at the finish line... 'With the 3.45's, and an easy launch, I was going into 4th real close to the 1/8th mile... Now I don't have to worry about 5th in the 1/4 even after we up the power...
