Frank and Vin,

Sorry for your loss :( as you can see from my avatar my pets mean a lot to me too so I feel for your loss.

BTW the pug in the avatar was my first dog of my own her name was Jessie. She was my dog always wanted to know where I was or what I was doing and she loved to play with the remote Camaro! she passed 3 years ago and we have another black pug but she is not the same she is more attached to my wife, thats why I will not change my avatar.

Frank and Vin, sorry for the loss of your pets, I can't even think of how hard it will be on us when we have to let go of our 2 dogs.

Red face

I feel so sad for you Frank and you Vince.....I lost Trixie..my black Tabby a year ago. She always slept on the top right of my bed just over my head...Funny but I still leave room for her out of habit.....:(
I like to think they are in a finer place than we are!
Chin up my friends!

Frank is the one who is hurting the most, your thoughts should be with him, my Martini was gone last November and I've had time to adjust, but thank you for the condolences. You all are a great bunch of people and I am glad to call you my friends!

I heard they revamped the rules yet again:

The Syracuse "We No Like You If Your Car Is Newer Than 40 years old" Nationals Rules
  • they are letting in the new breed of muscle cars (they really don't consider it a muscle car unless it gets <6 mpg and handles like an Amish cart)
  • muscle cars are Sun only (between 1:06 pm and 1:42 pm)
  • they have to see your vehicle first (touch your vehicle first, feel your vehicle first)
  • Reg. is $40 ($80 if it's from the 80's, $120 if it's from the 90's, $250 if it still has it's original coat of paint and the engine hasn't been rebuilt)
  • You're eligible for trophys but not for Major Prizes (5th gen ANYTHING only eligible for Cracker Jack Box prizes)
  • More info., go too "www.stayhomenewcars.com"
LOL

(P.S. I wish Clare were still here while I was writing this ...)

I go the Syracuse Nationals every year, but I do not have a very good opinion of the way they run it. I'm sure some of the guys on here would get in after close inspection, but I guarantee no V6's will make it. Never mind we're faster than half the cars there... AND they welcome RAT RODS...

I go to the nationals every year. The last two years I brought my son and he has a blast looking at all the old cars. They'll let our cars in at some point (in about 40 years! haha).

Some good news from the ZL1 front! My order went to 2500 yesterday things are moving quick.
