I put mine away a week ago. The last thing I was worried about was the car cover.
I was more concerned with swapping in some new oil, mixing in the fuel stabilizer, and getting the battery tender hooked up well since it's being stored away from my home. I opted to use an indoor cover since I won't be taking it out. I would never use an outdoor cover.

Echoing what has been said here already -
Covers are only good on a PERFECTLY (and I mean not a spec of dust) clean cars that will be stored for long periods of time indoors. A cover outside on one that you'll take off/put on frequently is just asking for problems. You'll cause more damage using a cover than if you had just left the car exposed to the elements. |
