A/C belt whine

So since day one I've been hearing a very faint whine/chirping noise coming from the engine bay and after having several people listen to it, including a friend that just got his masters in mechanical engineering, they've all said that it was normal

I said ok and didn't think anything of it. Then, a couple of days ago I find several threads on this, and they all claim that is's simply an incorrectly installed A/C belt (A/C runs on its own belt, not the main drive belt) and that your dealer should replace it.

It looks like I'm gonna make a trip to the dealer next week and have it replaced. Has anyone else had this?

Btw, does your main serpentine belt make a faint/kinda normal sound whine that's only noticeable when up close?

nvm, I checked the A/C belt and it's def not it. It appears to be like a faint grinding noise, almost like a bearing.

Anyone else have an opinion?
