Bumblebee Exhaust? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

What Exhaust did the Bumblebee in Transformers 1 have? i.e. the sound. From the exhaust thread, to me it sounds like the SLP Powerflows are the closest... or did the movie just use a sound clip from something else?

Well since bumblebee was an LS1 GTO underneath his pretty camaro body and I don't think they swapped engines your actually trying to compare ls1 exhaust notes to ls3.

So let me rephrase - what exhaust for the 2010 Camaro do you guys think sounds most like the Bumblebee pseudo Camaro in Transformers 1? I saw the Hot Rod article, but did not see reference to the exhaust. I guess it is an apples/oranges comparison, but I still wonder what sounds closest - opinionwise?

Why not just listen to the offerings for the 2010 amd pick the one you like the best?

I'm sure they edited the sound in after the movie was made.

i'm pretty sure they did to, in fact i think i heard Saleen say something like that in one of his videos about the cars in TF

And Saleen is a kind of a jerk. They made the cars for the movie out of GTO's but then told a bunch of Mustang fans the cars in the movie where V-6's. I do not trust him.

If you know your GTO's really well, you can definately point out GTO parts in Bubble bee's interior.

Alright guys, thanks for the opinions...?? I just thought Bumblebee sounded kind of like the SLP Powerflows in the initial Camaro scene, which is a sound I like. I really liked the sound/tone in the movie.. Now I just need to get the car, supposedly next month.

It wasan ls2 powered GTO that was made into bumble bee not ls1 gto.
