A6 Tranny temps

I wish I went to camaro fest !!!!!

I had the week off from work too!!

I guess I didn't put 1+1 together..

I would have had a blast !!

I did go to the dragway on the same week though to see what my stock car would do !

I have a stock SS/RS L99 A6.

I got a few consistent 13.5's @ 106, some 13.8's, 13.9's,
and some really bad ones with the traction control off.

I would spin sideways down the track, give up and coast in @ 14.5

I got 10 runs in @ my drag way.

My big question is the A6 tranny temps. How were yours??

My tranny temp gauge ran up to that middle line between the 180º and the 320º so I'm guessing that's 250º-255º. This made me very nervous because the car normally runs tranny temps below the 180ºF.

If you don't want to get off the topic of camarofest here.
I have ranny temp & cooler threads started.

I missed Camaro5-Fest due to the crud and all this pollen in the air. But that didn't stop me from enjoying a nice ride down I-20 to Dallas where a Black SS and I had a Mustang sandwich. We raced up to over 120 and the Mustang called it quits. I've got the V6 and never missed a beat. I think we went over 50 miles exceeding 90 the whole time. Georgia was on my mind, but traveling a smooth Texas interstate is hard to beat. DUGG

This is the same a-plus service, a-plus performance that anyone will get going to Livernois

Look for my car to be completely tuned, dynoed and track run by the end of the week.........I'm looking for a 10.4 in there somewhere....we shall see.
I think you ran the hell out of your car and the shop did great work very consistent all day best of luck down the road BTW one of my favorite colors

here was my best run:

R/T .832 (ughh)
60' 2.414
330 6.098
1/8 9.023
MPH 84.33
1000 11.511
1/4 13.577
MPH 110.70

Who was the guy on here before saying he ran a 12.23 "bone stock"???? that's hard to believe. I hope I can break into the 12's next time with some headers and a better launch.
I know what your talking about the t6060 is tuff to work with also watch yourself as once you do get her hooking the clutch is not very strong...sheared my half shafts fixed that went back to the track blew out the outer cv's and grenaded the clutch... have a new drive shaft coming cause I know that's the next weakest link... best of luck

I have a GMPP Crate LSA engine in my Camaro.

In testing on Thursday ran a 11.08 and then a 10.92.
At Camaro Fest on Saturday ran an 11.05

I'm the girl with the old 67-Camaro (blue with white stripes). My best time in the Quick-16 was

R/T .... 0.261
60 .... 1.522
330 ... 4.531
1/8 .... 7.074
MPH ... 96.59
1000 ... 9.272
1/4 .... 11.140
MPH ... 120.44

But I ran the car again at night and my best time was 11.086 and my best reaction time was 0.054 and the fastest MPH of the day was 120.87

My husband and I were extremely happy with how the car performed. We never expected the car (with me driving it) to make it into the semi-finals. I did not win any money like one of the other guys, but I won a bunch of great new friends!

Thanks to all of you guys for your help and all the great tips that help make this a great experience for me! And Congratulations to FastLane and Midgard on their two beautiful fast cars. They are awesome! Go Panama!
