c7 LT1 puts down 407 rwhp with NPP and manual trans
Well I thought this was interesting because of the possibility that this engine
could make it to the 1LE some day. Do you think the 2015 SS will get the LT1? On a side note, has anyone taken their 2014 1LE to the 1/4 mile track yet? http://www.edmunds.com/car-reviews/t...dyno-test.html |

Took my 1le to the 1/4 mile an 12.8 at 111mph, with 500miles on the ticker.

My 1LE showed 410.9 HP at the wheels on a Dynapak machine. I think these HP dyno meters are variable at best.

My 1LE is performing exactly like my '11 LS3 SS. I am sure I would take a new LT1 under my hood in a second. Besides the HP, a big bump in torque. Let's not hold our breath for a LT1 in the Gen5 Camaro. Chevrolet has spent big bucks in Camaro Performance development over the past few years.
But, as I understand it GM can make only so many LS7s per year. So what if the very expensive Z/28 does not sell very well. Could GM offer the leftover LS7 capacity as a $10,000 1LE option at the end of the 5th gen run? Hmmm, I would have to trade in my 1LE and explain to my wife yet again why this has to be done. Make mine a Red Rock 1SS with NPP, BA, Recaros, and the LS7.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21013 Read the 1st post and it tells you how to get on the list. And I would rotate your slip 90 degrees. That makes 2 stock 1LEs in the 12s that we know of. Anyone else?
