Manual tranny & rear diff fluid change

Well, I just got back from having all of the fluids in my SS changed (oil, manual transmission, and rear-differential). I had a local dealer do it ( for Grabiak Performance Center), since I don't have time, tools, or a place to do it.

Anyway, I talked to the service tech afterward, and he said the manual transmission fluid was fine, but the rear-diff was fairly dirty. He said it was alot dirtier than he expected. I have a 2010 1SS, with 28,000 miles on it.

Joe.

The service tech said it should be changed at around 75,000 or so, but alot of people in these forums have done it sooner, so I decided it's cheap insurance. However, the tech said that rear-diff fluid should be changed at 75,000 also, but he was surprised that it was so dirty.

Just letting everybody know what happened.

Joe.

Flush and refill your transmission and differential fluid every
60K miles or 4 years whatever comes first.

This has been discussed on here before. Change differential at I think it was 1500 miles then every 100,000. There is a TSB on it as well.

The best prices I found (at a dealer) were:

1) Oil $80
2) Manual Tranny $105
3) Rear Diff $105

I know alot of others do it themselves, but I don't have the tools/place to do it.
