Difference between L99 and Ls3

Is there any hardware or just software difference?

The manual engine is the LS3.
The automatic engine is the L99

The L99 has a feature in which cylinders are 'shut down' when not needed, to increase fuel economy. In a full throttle situation for example, all 8 cylinders are used. There's a few other things but that's essentially the major difference

Tks chris, so if I buy a hypertech max energy, letting me be able to turn off the Afm, the engine will gain some power?

Sorry man, I'm no tuner. Head change, cam change, carb and manifold, valve lash, timing, rear end swap...I'm your guy.

Chips and tunes? Well, I like to listen to some tunes while eating some chips, but that's where my expertise stops.

But if you ever need to replace your crankshaft, I can help

Forget the Hypertech and get the SCT Tuner from JRE. Ted will tune your L99 via remote tuning and you'll feel the difference. Ted knows these Camaros very well.

Different compression. The l99 has vvt and afm so they have a different camshaft. And I believe their gears are different. And the stock tune isn't that great on a l99.

Ditto!!

So what if the same question gets asked a hundred times?? ... if you don't want to answer it, then don't...no need to get rude with the OP.
