Last season it was at least kinda almost funny. Just plain lame now. I hope they just cancel it now!

Didn't he spin out a Boss last year as well, I seem to recall a branch or something being wedged into the tire. I guess this can be expected when you throw a driver who is unfamilar with the car on the strip with instuctions and pressure to pull off a great time.

I second that - they turn what could be an informative comparison into what they think is funny, but it's not funny. Worthless show.

With all due respect: I think you guys (not just you - FWIW), are taking this show too seriously... While TG UK is my all-time favorite show, and USA doesn't hold a candle yet, I'm finding it's appeal is growing by the show.

IMVHO - there's something you have to try to keep in consideration from BOTH shows - it's supposed to be about fun. I knew immediately reviews about that episode were going to be outrage around here. Yes - they pounded CAMARO, and picked on it furiously. It didn't help the most Metro of the hosts drove it, but I think he had to. Of all the cars there, that SS was at the biggest disadvantage. If Foust was in the 5.0, he would've raped the other cars. It was good they gave that car to the idiot driver of that show, lol. And if they brought an RT - it would've been raped - period (I'm exaggerating).

The point of these shows in particular is they about FUN!!! They're not about information or factual. If you can't look at it from that perspective - you're just not going to enjoy the show. If you chose to look at it that way, you're completely missing the point.

I hereby nominate dirishboy for their new writer. I will volunteer for their new producer. I think the guys could actually be funny if it weren't so forced and scripted. They have these great cars and they could really do something with it, but when you have a 69 SS, a 70 Boss 302,a 70 challenger, and modern versions of all three you have to try to mess that up. It's almost impossible to make bad television with that car line up but they managed. I actually liked the idea of the 2 stage drag race with the old cars and the new cars, but it doesn't feel like they are even trying. And electrodes??? It wasn't funny, and I kind of don't even believe that they were really getting shocked. They aren't believable as human beings on the show.

I agree that the show should be FUN. I honestly don't remember much about what they said about the Camaro in the show because I just can't pay attention to it. Top Gear UK is awesome. Yeah they play loose with the facts , and they do goofy challenges on a regular basis, but they actually do review the cars. TG US has turned every show into one big goofy "challenge". They might be funnier if they didn't do them constantly. The challenges seem very scripted too and I think they have to be because Foust is such a better driver than the others. I would like to see them drive the muscle cars around a wet track for time and see them losing control so I could see a real honest reaction out of them when they are losing it.

Put the video of this guy crashing on the show and lets see an in car shot of the guys face. That would actually be funny. I don't care if they go on to say how this is the worst handling car ever made. It would be FUN and I could deal with it.
