Any shift problems with 2012 V6 yet?

With all the problems with the 2010 and 11's, some had even said they had problems with the 1/2 shift from day one. I was just wondering if anyone with a 2012 has experienced this yet or if maybe there has been a fix?

i got rid of my v6 man car, and just got a SS.because of the v6 tans issue.-- - i was AND watching to see if the v6 guys got a fix.--If so, then gm should have to fix the 10 and 11 veh's,as they know of the problem, and if they dont and the 2012 are fixed,,- i would be raising hell and do what ever to get gm to fix even if it means lawyer

Yeap problems still exist, I have a 2012 auto v6 and it makes a slight clunk noise goin from park to drive with only mildly pressing the accelerator and a really loud clunk going from park to reverse. Car started doing it about the first week that I bought it new. Dealer gave me a bulletin about drive line clunk noise and slack and lash in transmission gears. Nothing they will do about it but told me to bring it in if it gets worse

Was reading in another thread that there may have been a fix for the 12' AY6. Supposedly new carbon blockers?!?!

Many people are shocked at the power it has even with the v6.
Hmm while i do not know how you drive it seems that the issue has not been fixed...

i just upgraded at the dealership to a Hurst short throw shifter and im noticing a delay in it getting into 2nd gear quickly, maybe the shifters are to quick for the blockers or syncos. Im trying to find a solution...

Had my transmission replaced (again) and this transmission is supposed to have the new carbon blockers, also new clutch assembly was put in and so far I have had no issues with grinding after about 1000 miles. Both previous times (one rebuild and one replacement) didn't even make it to the first speed shift without grinding. Hopefully it will continue to work right because the 1-2 shift is much more fun now!

having issues with mine now it's been in and out of the shop for the last week, they first said oh there is nothing wrong. The fixed the air bag light that was on recall and it was on and flashing red safter the dealership closed last night. Took it back this morning went for another test drive and he felt the vibration in the 32 to 60 range ,and it shook going around corners up and down hills, toaday they called me and said its fine to take on vacation,I said no way! I said fix it !...they also wanted to put fuel additives in and I said no , its a transmission problem we are going to get it solved,it has less than 6,000 miles not going home till its fixed! So finally the mechanic felt what I did.. ire all hope it's the toured converter and not a combination of things! Oh just one day at a time.

They do have a redesigned tranny. I had it put it about 2 weeks ago and there is a drastic difference between this one and the original one in my 2010. The redesigned tranny came out in March of 2012. As 2011Camaro stated, it has fixed my grinding issue too. Before in a speed shift at higher RPM I could only get a chirp, now I can get the tires to break free and spin going into 2nd gear. I had a 2nd gear rebuild last year to no avail. This is a different tranny. Downshifting into 1st gear used to be tough. 1st through 3rd was dicey at times before. Now it all slips in really nice, like it should.
