install cost for cam swap

I am looking to get a cam swap done and looking at the vengeance havoc kit. Just curious what everyone has paid for there cam swaps. Looking for just the labor.

Most charge $800-1200 not including a tune just labor.

That's what I though I was prices $2000-$2200 just for the labor and I thought that was ridiculous.

Correct me if I am wrong, but haven't there been oil starvation issues due to HV oil pumps in certain situations (road track)?

yes sorry the kit includes the upgraded oil pump but even with all that $2000 sounds ridiculous, right?

Good question and I am not sure. I do know a few motors have been lost with the stock pump relief valve sticking.

I have heard this as well, but it seems to be a bit more obscure...

Very well documented issue, but not as common of a problem, as the doomsday sayers would have you believe.

2200 bucks for my cam..cam kit including melling pump with install..tune and dyno.
