Interesting. Looks good.
After considering putting the spoiler on top of the stripes like you did, I elected to go with the stripes on top of the spoiler. Since I was using the blackout on the back section of the trunk between the lights, I figured it would give it a cleaner look in the back.

I'm guessing he didn't choose to stripe the car this way. Just the leftover stripe from where the previous spoiler was, probably.
Love the look on top of the spoiler.
