Diff / Trans Fluid Changes
I've done 8 - 20min sessions on new trans/diff/engine oil
Had about 2500mi prior to that... Changed the engine oil today while I was putting new pads/resurfaced rotors on... Bleeding the brakes out too with Motul 660... Had a dealer do it when they put on SS lines about 6mo ago How often is everyone changing their fluids ? Got two days of track time next week... |

GM doesn't have any recommendations for transmission fluid specifically for the track, but changes from 100k miles to 45k miles for "severe" duty". For tracking, I think most people go above and beyond those recommendations, but at 2500 miles and less than 3 hours of track time, I don't think any of that is urgent, unless you feel something overheated. |
