I found it at my local Fabric shop.It was $12.99 a yard. I bought 4 yards so I could do one for my 1LE and if I liked it, I would do another for my SS. I fould a lady who embroiders who charged $20.00 for a set up fee for the font, and $9.00 to put the 1LE on. I will post pics when it's done. Can't wait to see what it's going to look like, I got the red 1 and White L and E.

I am, Looks very simple, i had the lid off to measure it for the fabic. I have been trying to find the best way to attach the fabric to the lid, didn't really want to use anything harsh or smelly. Fabric glue? Velcro? I will post up a step by step process as I go to install it with the fabric. Do you guys and girls think there would be much interest in the embroidered console lid?

Good to know about the staples, didn't event think about that! My 1le is a 1ss so it not covered in leather like my 2ss, I will take a look at the 2ss lid. Thanks.
