RK Sports Hood

Hello, I have been thinking about getting an RK sports Ram air hood for my 2011 Camaro. I have not seen one on any Camaros in the area and was wondering if anyone has an opinion on them. I have a reverse hood kit installed and want to make sure these hoods dont require a lot of adjustment as far as fit and form. Do not want my body shop guy spending many hours installing it (he charges by the hour... LOL)

Thanks for any advise....

Just got mine painted and installed about a month ago, love the hood, it looks great and the price is really good. (PM me for more info on that). I don't know if/how it would work for the reverse hood kit if new holes need to be drilled in the hood since its fiber glass.

As far as the fit, it took some tweaking to get it right, however it is all tweaking that you can do. I had to play with the stoppers a little but still had the passenger side lift that was common with the RK sport hoods. What fixed it was adjusted the hood latch and now the hood lays nice and flat. No idea though with the reverse hood kit, I have never seen someone with the RK Sport and reverse hood kit. Posting a couple pics for you to see the fitment on mine.

First pic is direct from body shop, you can see the slight lift on the corner, the second one is after adjusting the stoppers and one shim on the fascia and fender. I realized I have not taken a pick since I adjusted the hood latch, will take one and post it later today. The last one was direct out of the box, installed with no adjustments at all, just bolted it on.

I have the RKSport Ram Air hood as well. As usranger80 mentioned, fit is great, but I don't know if you can use the reverse hinge with it due to the material. Let us know if it works...if you try.

I think t-top terror runs a reverse hook with an RK Sports ram air hood. Maybe it's modified. Usrnager80. Can you tell if the front underside area is fiber glass as well?

Dude that looks sick! So jealous. I would get one too but I would hate to have to re-stripe my hood. Lol
