1/8th mile......will need to know a lot more about your runs. Any tire spin? Weight transfer working well? What tire pressure? Is the front sway bar disconnected? Skinnies on front to match the slicks? (must be biased ply or sashy down the track could get you loose).
Have adjustable coilovers on the back set to app 50/50 to start? |

It is a stock converter. I thought with a supercharger (650hp),I would do better than I did.

Mph looks very low for that kind of power.

this 650 flywheel or rwhp?
also how much did you let the car cool down? if there is any heat in the car, it will start pullin timing as the iat's climb. my car with 650whp cold will run 7.0@100mph now same set up hot will run 7.4.@95mph heat plays a HUGE factor in how these cars run. i drive my car 45 mins to the track. so as soon as i get there i pop the hood, throw a bag of ice on the whipple and wait atleast an hour before i make a pass. to where the car is completely cooled off. then by the time i get thru the staging lanes it at the perfect temp for racing.

You're launching the car wrong or like these guys said you are spinning. 1.60 is attainable with the stock converter. Did you log the pass with mph as a pid?

Its got to be in the launch. Am below 600 RWHP with 18" D/R stock fronts 1.60s is bad for my 60' and 1/8 mile 100 plus MPH

650 fly wheel hp and the weather was hot, around 32c and I had let the car sit for an hour between each run. When I put the line lock on and then did my burnout, the computer screen say service stabilizer and seems to shut off the traction control and nannys. Even if I shut off traction control and stabilizer before I burnout, the screen says the same thing. I thought maybe the computer was shutting down on the power for some reason. What is the best air pressure for my 18' slicks ( hoosier) ?
Thanks for all your info and I want to be able to give the car a good run. |

Your stability control thinks it's malfunctioning due to the line lock. It's sensing the rear wheels spinning, and the front wheels stopped without the brake pedal being applied.

Not sure about the hoosier slicks. I have played with the air as low as 15psi in the 18" M/T DR and found they work best for me with 20psi.
