the reason they are cheaper is because the labor to weld/assemble them together is that much cheaper. and they only come with a 2 year warranty. thats where the savings for the consumer comes into play. Americans want more to do anything thats why Ipads arent made in the USA because they would be 2,000 each LOL but in all seriousness i support the "made is USA" label but i just didnt want to swing it, especially knowing that these, obx, and tsp headers are getting just as good reviews as kooks, SW and ARH. ARH are made only a few miles away from my house, they are a fantastic product and ive seen how they are made ive been inside the factory but i just (me personally) couldnt spend that knowing what i found out. i did a ton of research and even spoke with Apex Chase on a different thread and he agreed that the SPs are made off of the same jig and use the same American 304 Steel that the SWs use but are assembled (welded) out of the US which is where the big savings comes into play. the steel is american, they are cut in america, they are welded and assembled in Asia. but thats what your paying for as a consumer, do you want the life time warranty SWs or the 2 year warranty SPs? it all comes down to the person because odds are the headers (either brand) will out last the car lol

Chinese labor is cheaper for a reason. I am to going to argue with you, you have your view and I have mine oh and the fact that my ARH fit with zero modification.

mine fit with ZERO issues or modifications as well (and i installed my whole exhaust personally) one small clip is gone and done 2012 camaros dont even come with that clip or that rubber and it is cheaper for a reason because our money goes further there and the labor is cheaper there lol and as the gentleman above stated his buddy with the kooks headers had the same problem i had and he has the same headers i have and he didnt have this problem lol its all a bunch of BS at the end and it depends on the car because lets be honest here we own chevys not Ferrari's so each car is always going to be different and fit parts different then the other. im not arguing im just saying economics is economics and thats that. you own awesome headers and so do I.

completely off topic but I can't see how cutting pipe, bending pipe, and manufacturing pipe to turn around and ship it to china, have it welded, and then shipped back would provide any type of savings for the manufacturer. But then again I don't manufacture schit.

All this crap about fitment is just that, crap. My buddy has the same headers as me (Stainless Power) and he has clearance like the ARH photo above. I think it has more to do with motor location on the mounts and the geometry of the steering shaft. GM has tolerances like everyone else, that motor moves over an 1/8" the steering shaft the other way an 1/8" and now the clamp doesn't fit.

Enjoy your car, and your headers. Don't let these guys get you down for getting something that fits in your budget.

this, the clip part that sticks out can easily be folded/bent dont flush with the rest of itself.

You can probably even do it with your finger lol, It doesnt need to stick out to keep the tension
