Helllllooooo Winter

I don't normally head out on the highways with my car when there's a snow warning, however I had no choice due to a family emergency. I left last night, roads clear to the farm, went up to the hospital (all is good) this am, fine, got back to this.....

Hoping things clear to get home tomorrow!

In 5 hours, there's 4" of snow on the ground. I went out to turn the car around, driveway is on a slope so wanted to make sure I'd have a good run to get out. Love my Blizzaks! No problem!

If it gets deeper than the splitter, I will be staying here...

More pics - I won't use a snow brush on her, used my jacket and hands, hope you can see how much snow we've received in a few hours

that's definitely a long winter, we usually don't see any snowstorms until mid December.

Don't think I'm going home today, snow is covering the splitter. I wiped all the snow off last night and its covered again, plus the wind has created drifts. Fisrt snow day of the year!

Unless one of my parents neighbours come down, I'm stuck. Snow is up to my knees in their driveway. Not sure what the highway is like, will check later! Started the car and let her run for a few mins!

If this is indicative of what winter is going to look like this, its gonna be a long one!
