Only 3 years old so many problems!!!

My car is just about 3yrs old and has had so many problems.
1. Wouldn't start right in cold weather.
2. Car wouldn't shift past 1st gear. (They said they found nothing wrong although they saw the code for it).
3. Car has a misfire (plugs and coils are fine from what i was told.

Let me first say this is officialy my first car I ever owned. I have driven other cars, but they were my parents car. One car was about 10yr old and never had any major issues like this. The other car is 6yrs old and no problems (both import). I love my camaro, but it is giving me headaches with all these problems.

Find a different shop/dealer to do the work.

There is a re-flash for the misfire when cold.
These are only minor issues.

The misfire was not under cold weather. I know these seem like a small issue, but they add up to time wasted. Like i said before i love my camaro, but these "small" problems are a hassle. To add to my point i won't have my car for at least 3 days maybe longer.

Thats what sometimes happens when you are lucky enough to buy the first year model. They get all the bugs.
And I agree, find another dealer.

Saw the code but saw nothing wrong?

I had a vaguely similar issue at a dealer last year. They wouldn't install a GM warrantied part for me, as "they had never done it before on that type of car". The car was a 2007 GM product.

That shop was incompetent and the manager knew it, was the real story. I found another GM dealer's shop. You should too. They don't know what they are doing if they see an error code, and then tell the customer they can't find the fault. Finding the fault and satisfying you is the reason the shop exists

Well to fair to them the code just disappeared and they could not duplicate the problem again. They knew that the problem existed and since it went away they did nothing. I will give "some" credit as I was hesitant, but it was fine for about a year and now some other problems arose. To note that was the first time I went to them with a problem only 1 yr into the car with about 5,000 miles or so. Now I am waiting on them to check my car (4) days in counting and they still haven't even checked my car yet. I know that they are busy and have to service many cars, but damn I sure do miss my car. The rental they gave me is a p.o.s has damage everywhere and noticed about 5 minutes in the car the system says you need a oil change.

I apologize for any inconveniences or frustrations you have had with the issues you are experiencing. If you would like me to contact your dealership to see if there are any options for you, please let me know. I just need your first and last name, address, phone number, VIN, mileage, and involved dealership.

I look forward to your correspondence.

I appreciate that. Like I said i know the dealership is busy and I saw that. I just really want my car back hopefully this time no more problems. I will wait until tuesday night. If they havent eveb checked the car i will contact you with all the information you need. Some of the people I work with know the owner of the dealership, and they say she is a great person. So I will give the benefit of the doubt, and also i hate to name drop. Lots of people try to do that and I hate that.

Sorry I can't help, I bought a 2010 and had no issues for the 2 1/2 years we had it. Only time I had to get warranty work done was a couple months after we got it the temperature door in the HVAC system broke, and they replaced it and the car was perfect from then on. So I wouldn't blame it on being a first year model.
I am sure a Conpetent dealer can help fix your issues.

Just to add the most ironic thing is everybody now asks me are you the one with the camaro. Only when i don't have it everybody asks me questions about it. Now I have a rental (impala) which is good, but they gave me the worst one.

Mine will be three years old in August with no issues, other than dealing with AFM. Of course very low miles.
