Checking the VIN, I found out some interesting information here that I think may need some explanation.

According to Tom Henry production breakdown, your VIN shows it being claimed as a clone done by the original owner. Found out there were only 3 documented 2001 Tom Henry cars converted that I can find and 32 total between 2001-2002. And only 2 pewter cars for 2002 were converted, both 6 speed manuals.

I can give you props for not constantly pointing out it was a genuine GMMG car (even though you have it listed in your ad as GMMG, but I'm confused why you'd have a GMMG second content sticker for it tying it to the VIN.)

What's up with that? Why is there a "GMMG" second content window sticker to begin with if it wasn't actually converted for Tom Henry? Is that why the GMMG build number is hidden? GMMG registry says that someone's trying to "build" #33, which would obviously be a clone and a couple of pictures and Scott Settlemire has even said there's a pewter one out there that's a clone.

All that said, it's a super-nice car that's worthy of accolades, but potential buyers are also worthy of the whole truth. Not trying to pee on your parade, but I always thought yours was a Tom Henry car, but now I'm more convinced it's probably not. There's more than one side of a story. If it's a clone, then it's a clone. No big deal. But I believe in truth-in-advertising at this kind of level.

You are correct and NEVER once did I say this was a Tom Henry Car. All of the parts are and were added by GMMG by Matt. Tom is a friend so we made a tribute car. You cannot get a real metal GMMG badge unless Matt did the work and he only adds them to Phase ll + cars and speciality cars. Matt did several cars after the fact I do not know the exact number but if I recall it was over 12.

So yes as pointed out I have always maintained this as a 2001 Camaro Z/28 show car. We had the THR package added by GMMG in 2003 the window sticker was done by GMMG as well.

Ok, now we all know it's a clone. Thanks for clearing that up. I didn't follow the Tom Henry cars that much and thought it was genuine deal up until today.

Either way, it's still very worth 8,500 regardless for what you get. I don't know why someone hasn't snagged it yet.

Yep a clone we opted for the ZL1 grille over the SS grille added the ZL1 painted hood scoop, and added the Limited Edition Scott Settlemire signature gauges I have set #1 of 15.

Me either I had two parties who wanted to buy one guy Could not get a loan, the 2nd person needs to wait until he sells his other car.

I wish I was closer to you. Thats a great deal. I'd imagine that would sell for 10+ on eBay even listed as a clone. They are hard to come by nice these days.
