Not my Camaro but my 2010 Silverado Z71. Just a gimick. Even send a printed email from the owner to a salesmens email to contact me ASAP

I get these calls on my 2011 Silverado about every 2 weeks. I tell them give me $50,000 for it (its worth about $30,000) an they usually say we cant do that and hang up.

I have gotten calls every time I have had my car in the shop. When the last guy called and said I could get a new 2014 for the same payment as my 2011, I proceeded to tell him why he could not make that happen until he finally gave up and said, "I guess you want to keep your car."

Have a very low mileage 2011 2LT that I pre-ordered May 2010, delivered early Aug. 2010. In the last 1-1/2 months received 4 emails from dealership for me to trade, plus two phone calls from dealership offering $ thousands in discounts on "select 2014 autos". "They need low mileage tread-ins, etc.".

Not interested.

It's a common marketing ploy no matter what car you have. It gives the dealer a chance to engage you in a discussion and start their sales pitch.

I get the same notices on my '08 Malibu.

They reel you in with there (we want your specific car tactic), then before you know it you're wondering what steam roller just hit you. USED cars and auto repairs are what dealers make tons of money with, NOT by selling NEW cars. DON'T DO IT, sell it outright, or ignore them.

I got a letter from a dealer last week wanting to buy my 2003 Monte Carlo....I haven't owned it since 2006....
