Stuff like this isn't good to tighten one bolt all the way down as it distorts the throttle body and can make it bind during operation. I never unplugged my battery either. Started it, let it warm up and took it for cruz up the strip. Loved it ever since with my K&N kit the power and supercharger wine is perfect!
I did the same thing on my install, I used a nut driver to tighten my tb and used a cross pattern to snug each bolt down until I thought it was as it was on the removal.

I installed mine and paid no attention to torque specs. I actually didn't know there were any for the TB. Mine is with a Roto Fab intake and works flawlessly. I too would really like to know how "over torque" can cause a vacuum leak.

Hello

so now i make and tested a few things.
I tested every possible torque settings but everytime the same problem. So i install the original TB with disconnected battery, and then all work like it should.

ok i test all connections and install the VMAX TB with disconnected battery and check everything. But now the problem is already again here.

I also tested to load the stock tune because i have a 93 octane tune and i think maybe this is the problem. and then disconnect the battery make a fuse pull but nothing helps.

what can or should i do?
because the torque cant be the problem, the original haven't got problems. air from somewhere can also not be because the original work correctly.

please for help

I think the only thing left to rule out in the vMax TB electronics. It's opening or closing the throttle blade incorrectly.

take off the throttle body and confirm the green o ring gasket is there and did not fall off/out. Put a light film of lubricant on the oring to ensure a good seal. Tighten the bolts to the throttle body to a seated position then give a little extra torque in a criss cross pattern. The green o ring should not be visible after torquing. Use a 1/4" ratchet with a firm torque and you are done. Make sure the connections to the TB are good as the MAF needs to be clicked back in place and the silicone hoses need to be over the tubing properly. Hope this helps!

Yes the green oring is there. Curious is when i install the original one then it works.

and jannetty racing says it cant be a problem with the tune.

Has the electronic to relearn or something?

Thanks for help

The TB itself could be the problem...bad electric motor? So, the stock TB works fine with the rotofab?

I also think maybe is there a leak at the breather canister because that isnt robust.

but then i try the original tb without this canister connected and it also work fine.

so i think the only way is the tb has a problem? Or is damaged?

Sounds like the TB itself. Is this a stock size (87mm) TB or the LS7 which is a 90mm?
