Strange Flywheel

Due to some engine problems I had to remove the engine completely from my car. After that I have noticed that the flywheel has some strange marking "BMW" and "N" letter (picture attached)

As I bought my car as a second hand one, I am wondering if the previous owner could replace the flywheel for some reason.

Does anyone have a clue why this part could be marked with BMW/N mark? Is it compatible with some BMW model?

And seconldy - are you able to recognize if this is a stock flywheel or a not-standard part?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Cheers from Europe

Sorry I forgot to mention - yes, it is 6.2 L99 engine from 2010 Camaro SS. I am not sure about about the main caps. I did not check it when visiting a garage.

looks like someone has balanced it as aftermarket, other than that looks stock, make sure it goes back on in same postion if it has been balanced.

It looks just like the light weight flexplate in this eBay ad, holes and all. Although the one in the listing has one less. I have no idea why it has "BMW" written on it.

Thank you for your advice. I am not sure if it would have to be removed, but if so, I would keep it in mind.

Thank you all for your help and attention. You are right - it looks that this is a ligther alternative for the original. So for sure it was replaced. Maybe it fits BMW as well, which could explain the mark. Anyway it is more clear to me now.

Six bolts. Four on the cap (2 studs, 2 bolts), you can see one of the bolts near the front on his image. Two cross bolts.
