We currently are locking prior to the 1/8 and ur mph is good there. But it is possible that the shift drop with it locked is hurting it some with the taller gearing. Bu it also may be pulling timing in high gear, or need a little fueling tweak but we WILL get it lined out!

Yep, that all makes sense. That's why I was thinking maybe to just play with the lock up points, instead of staying unlocked all the way thru. like instead of locking in 3rd and letting the shift rpms drop, try locking after the 4th gear shift. You will have to try it both ways to see what works best with your tire gear combo. I'm thinking its got to be pulling some timing up top.
