Euro 4 or Euro 5? :)

Hi there, this is my first post and i would like to excuse my sloppy writing but i didn't have time lately to practice it
I am writing from Romania/Europe and as i saw the new Camaro will be shipped also to Europe. I am a big fan of the car since i was very little and i am looking to buy first thing it reaches europe.

Questions:
Does anybody know when it will be shipped to the rest of the world (europe, australie, etc.) and (i know this isn't a problem in the US) what is the emission standard euro because in my country the higher the CMC and the lower the emission standard(euro4-euro3 etc) the higher the first registration tax

Thanks

Yes.

2008 Cadillac CTS
2008 Cadillac STS
2009 Chevrolet Traverse
2009 Saturn Outlook
2009 GMC Acadia
2009 Buick Enclave

And soon to be 2009 Holden VF Commodore and 2010 Chevrolet Camaro.

Hope this helps.

Also, the PFI version of this engine comes in a much wider range of models. Expect emissions to be lower in the LLT (the DI version) than the LY7 (the PFI version).

2004 Cadillac CTS
2004 Buick Rendezvous CXL
2004 Cadillac SRX
2004 Holden VZ Commodore
2005 Buick LaCrosse CXS
2005 Cadillac STS
2006 Holden VE Commodore
2006 Holden WM Statesman
2006 Holden WM Caprice
2007 Saturn Aura XR
2007 Saturn Outlook
2007 Pontiac G6 GTP
2007 GMC Acadia
2008 Buick Enclave
2008 Chevrolet Malibu
2008 Saturn Vue XR
2008 Pontiac G8
2008 Chevrolet Equinox Sport
2008 Pontiac Torrent GXP
2008 Pontiac G6 GXP

So far it seems that most of the 2007-2008 production models that have this type of motor have Euro 4 standards.
Euro 4 means i will have to pay 5000 euro's( aprox 6500 dolars) for the first registration tax :((
Euro 5 would only cost me 2-300 euros(500 dolars)

even if its euro 5 you'd still pay euro 4. happened to friend with a honda.
there is no calibrating machine in romania for euro 5. as far as i know and believe me i checked. only 3 euro 4 : daewoo, renault and voluntari rar, all for euro 4 level.

Europe loves their small engines even if their supercharged or turbocharged vehicles put out almost or as much co2 . They should just tax your gas as expensive as it already is the more you use the more you pay. You may buy this car to take out every few weeks and the guy with a moped that puts 100 miles on it every day is putting out 20 times as much CO2 as you but he pays nothing, and the environment is not any better off for it.
