i think i saw on a G8 site that the LOUDMOUTH system is basically a muffler delete...
is that true for the camaro too?

BTW, this is sweet!

that means that the mirror is 38.75% the size of the vertical windshield...
it sure seems like the ratio could be better... just sayin....

No I am sorry for mis stating the pipe material. These are aluminized metal not stainless. I called the installer and he said he would try to make some extra pipes when the next one comes in but in reality this is pretty custom pipe bending and hanging to get the pipes centered and at the right angle to keep the factory exhaust look out the back. I have to tell you that after driving it some today, and the comments I have got from friends and folks that pull along side at stop lights. This exhaust has really made a difference. The thing I love is all the engineering GM put into the sound is not lost it is enhanced.

He's done a good job at centering from the pics' that I've seen. It can't be to easy to get them to align like that, but they look good.

Isnt the exhaust assemmetrical, wouldnt you just make one to fit one side then copy for the other?

Well in a perfect world or if perfection was not important you could do that. However to get everything lined up and in the center of the factory hole it was a process of bend fit and bend and fit until everything was just right. I am sure that some of the kits can come pretty close and they are getting another camaro in a few days so they will play around and see if they can come up with an acceptable kit. Other issue is the tip. I used the original factory tip but as a kit the unit would more than likely have to have a different tip already installed. Not a bad thing cause there are some real cool tips available.

I would say about 15 lbs each at most.

Awesome! Now THIS is what I'm talking about. Don't need fancy mod kits that cost tens of thousands more. Solutions like this are a little more realistic. Thanks!

I thought you meant the pipes centering the back of the car fro underneath. As far as center of the hole goes that shouldnt be a problem, you should have exhaust hangers that hold them in the center of the hole.
