BTW here is the email I got just in case you did not get it:

Car Show Participants,
Please plan on bringing in your show car between 0730 and 0830. Enter the base using the Vesta Street Gate off of Main Street in National City. After entering the gate proceed thru the stop sign past the Admiral Robinson Recreation Center and make a left turn unto McCandless Street (CAUTION 20MPH). Proceed on McCandless approximately 2/10ths of a mile. The show area is located on the corner of Division and McCandless in the Fitness Factory parking lot (see attached layout). Registration will be on the right side and the entrance to the lot is on the left. Park your car in a numbered spot (write you spot # on the attached), and proceed to registration. Provide the crew with your spot # and pick up your packet.

meet me in the NEX parking lot. I'll be in the area of the newly renovated portion (the old commissary....nearest 32nd st...... as you are entering the NEX 32nd street gate take immediate left) between 0700 and 0715.

Plan to depart that lot at 0715 sharp.

Congrats on the First Place in our Division. Not too bad for your first car show either! Good job representing SOCAL Camaro5.

Enjoyed meeting all the other Camaro5 guys (and gals) there. I still think it would have been funny if they had put us in the Mustang class.

Placing third in a category with more than 29 other competitors proves that the Ford focus can be a daily driver and weekend racer while still maintaining a show quality finish. James came third only to 1967 Chevy Bel Air (2nd), and a 2011 Chevy Camaro SS (1st) in the "American" category. The Ford small car segment was also represented by a Ford Fiesta. This just goes to show that the Chevy Cobalt, and Dodge Neon SRT-4 Can suck harry donkey balls. The focus will dominate the world for many more years to come. But don't just believe this "impartial" Navy Journalist, if you are reading this, go look in your driveway and try not to splooge.
