When i can afford it im going for SC for the instant and linear power curve it gives vs haveing to spool up a turbo. I know it take hp to run the SC but it still adds power no matter how you look at it.

Considering the current SC are centrifugal superchargers and give more power as the rpms rise, it's going to be almost like "spooling" up a turbo.

Turbo's used these days don't have the lag of a few years ago. I don't have this issue and made a video showing it. The problem that many have is that they don't build a kit according to the engine. If you pick the right turbo you will have no lag. Most just don't do the research and get the biggest thing out there thinking it's going to make good power.

If you do it right you have power as soon as you go WOT and you keep it throughout the RPM range. Pick the wrong turbo and you have no lag but lose power on the upper end (too small) or you have to build the boost like a centri and end up with full boost at way up in the RPM range (too big). I think the centrifugals are a good solution, but let's be clear about trubo lag. That's a thing of the past with modern turbos. If you have lag then you didn't design the system correctly.

This is a misconception now as technology has advanced. Even a single turbo runs lag free if done right. Look at the HPS single turbo V6's.

What's lag? Is that when I start the car or stop. It hard to keep it out of boost. I can only image how Can't does it with those tt.

I'm glad you guys live so far away from me. I can dream that I have Phoenix's quickest V-6 and actually have some hope that it's true.

My baby has it's issues, but it is a hand full. Like I stated before granny shifting 1st-3rd (sometimes I don't even use 1st) is sad lol. But when my club members with SS ride I give them hell lol. Glad I don't have to drive her everyday lol.

My friend Huey has a '10 LS-3 and I keep up with him quite nicely (I think I can beat him, actually). Just have to make sure I keep the revs up or he'll get the jump with the low end of the V-8. I'll try to get him to square off with me on a track soon. I'm going to need a new clutch anyway, sooner or later...
