Mike did mine!
He does an awesome job. I run track days and the "RED" has not faded out......Track temps are north of 540 degrees on the rotors as well..

Here's the deal if you have an SS and just want to pretty up your calipers check out this thread... http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64503
If you want to go 6 piston up front and you have an SS call Tyler @ JDP or struggle to put a kit together on your own like I did by hitting up Ebay for pads and Amazon and JDP for hoses and pads. If you have a 6 cylinder and want to upgrade to SS brakes look for someone selling take offs or hit up ebay and amazon and then contact Tyler @ JDP for the brake lines and pads and bolts. Add Pads. Add Pin Kits. Add Caliper Bolts. You also have to figure out what to do with your rear dust shields. You can install SS dust shields or cut yours down. I installed SS dust shields. In theory you should also upgrade to the SS Master Cylinder. Here is a page to show the kits GM sells to see all the parts (substitute rotors, pads and lines to your liking). Scroll down the page to see the brake kits. http://www.chevrolet.com/performance...s/1le-zl1.html Here is what to search for on Amazon for the caliper and pin kits: ACDelco 92244287 ACDelco 92244288 ACDelco 172-2502 ACDelco 172-2503 ACDelco 18K1970X ACDelco 18K1971X

Rotors: IMHO unless you buy a full kit (calipers, rotors, etc.) from someone, it's just not worth the shipping cost to buy used rotors given what non-vendors (us) have to pay for shipping. Rotors are big and heavy. This is where you want to buy from someone who is upgrading as they'd have proper rotor shipping boxes to use. If you go down the used route, you need to see close-up pics of ALL the bleed screws, cross over tubes, dust boots (both sides) and threads (Banjo bolt and mounting) on the caliper. You also want to see pics of the bolt holes, hats and both surfaces of the rotors. I didn't and I got burned. Ask yourself this question: Why is someone who already has the SS Brembos selling them? 1) Upgrading to something else (I like these guys - ALOT). 2) They bought new ones for powder coating/painting and didn't want to wait (I understand these guys). 3) Their previous set is worn out/damaged/not worth rebuilding (I dislike these guys WHEN THEY SELL worn out/damaged stuff).
