Question Who would you trust more for AUTO BODY WORK?

I'm interested in finding out who you guys would trust more for auto body work, the dealership or a well known body shop? Yes, I'm aware that some dealerships outsource body repairs to third party body shops, but let's assume a dealer has their own shop.

So what's it gonna be ?

I would ask around and go with a 3rd party shop. Surely you can find one around town that has good reviews and testimonials from some friends, etc. I've never had any work done at a dealer, always a third party shop, but I can't imagine the dealer cares much about the outcome if they're outsourcing the work. If they aren't making money, they probably don't care much.

Obviously choose the reputable one

A reputable dealer shop VS reputable community shop would be a more fair comparison.
