Vinyl Wrap Question

So I have a 2014 LS. The interior panels have that rough texture to them and are plastic. I also was planning on vinyl wrapping the interior panels with white Carbon Fiber but will it stick to this material? Would it be smart to heat the vinyl to take shape of each little bump? I really really want to avoid sanding or buying other panels because that would defeat the purpose of vinyl.

It may stick, but would stick even better on a completely smooth surface. Surface area for sticking is diminished on a bumpy surface. If you're thinking about the door panels, remember when you re-install them the material will pull even tighter, and could cause adhesion issues. Obviously I've been down this road before.....

My car is a 2ls so I have the trim with the bumps. Just make sure to stretch the material and you will be good to go. I'll try and post pictures for you in a little while.

You have a double post BTW but that would be great!! close up shots would be awesome and can you feel the texture through the vinyl? any adhesion problems so far? Thanks!

Very nice, is that leather wrap? Just wondering because I wanted to do white carbon fiber vinyl. its gloss so i dont know how much that would stick out.

its fake leather. I would suggest buying a small sample of the material you want to use and wrap the small piece that i show in the picture. that will give you an idea on looks and texture. I can post pictures of the rest of the Dash when i get home. I'm probably going to redo the long trim piece again because its not tight enough for my taste.
