I have to agree with you on this one. I am being patient but if there are 4000 dealers and they all get 2 cars that is 8000 cars before loyal customers that went to the trouble to pre order. I think since GM did this pre order program they should have made those customers top priority. Just think of it 8000 less loyal customers enjoying their cars while we sit and wait. That Challenger is a very nice car!

I don't get the whole fear. Successful brands don't die, they outlive their unsuccessful owners. It's true in almost any industry.

So even if GM drops dead I'm sure some alive & kicking car company will buy the popular and profitable cars (with their brands and factories that produce them of course) and continue selling them. It's pure business, guys.

I know most of us would be dead angry if, for example, Ford was to buy profitable leftouts after GM (for example Chevy Camaro) but... let's just hope GM survives all this mess and comes out even stronger
