Most people report drone issues only around 70 mph, I have vibration running through my car at all speeds in the 15-2k range. I just drove to work and watched the tach, even at low speeds I got vibrations that ran through my entire car.

Does everyone experience this in the beginning? 70 mph is one thing but I don't recall people having rattling dashboards even at slow speeds.

Thanks everyone.
It's not the speed but the RPM's and engine load. I was like you and ready to turn around and get the stock mufflers put back on, but now mine have a few thousand miles on them and I love the sound. If I am cruising at any gear around 1,800 to 2,000 RPM it just purrs, but if I am going up hill and the RPMs are in the same range it can get loud but not overly loud any more. Just let it season in before making a decision.

I lived with the drone for close to a year, helmholtz chambers knocked out 90% of the drone and is barely noticeable, with the radio on you probably wouldn't notice it to be honest. worth the investment IMO

Funny you should say that, tonight I rolled my windows down and floored it. I swear I thought it sounded like it was farting. I was like WTF?

Glad to hear it gets better, lol

Well I didn't have time yesterday so I went today. They were installed properly and hanging fine. Everything was tight under the car.

Guess ill wait it out and see how it goes. I'm sure I will wind up another happy owner.

Thanks everyone!

I've put the MRT 2.0 on my 2012 v6 and the sound is great. Now that it has mellowed a bit after 2 weeks you can barely hear a drone noise at highway speed. Loudest is around 35 mph. But the soothing hum is the point. No rattles. Used the clamps that came with the setup. Give it some time.

One thing I noticed is my fuel mileage has gone up about 1 mpg since installing these. It's the only mod I've done, is that normal or just coincidence as my car just turned 2k miles.

Mine has gone down... Of course now I drive it with the paddles around town so I can hear the exhaust roar....

I just got mine tack welded to keep them from rotating.

I'm somewhere between 18.4 and 18.9, I've never got more than 18.9 on a tank but I use R87 Gas. You may get a mile or two more out of the car if you go mid or high grade. I live in the LA Area so traffic is an F'ing Nightmare at times so anything in the 18 mpg is good enough for me. I have the MRT V2 axle back exhaust and the magnaflow x-pipe. I have a K&N drop in filter as well but that is the extent of my mods to date other than tinted windows. I'm thinking about adding a TB but I'm starting to read that some of the members are experiencing low idle problems and my car is pretty much running where I'd like it to be right now. So, I'm thinking I may pass on the TB as I'm sure it would effect the MPH even further.

Yeah I'm running regular gas as well. I was around 18 before the mufflers but I'm close to 19 now. Probably just my car starting to break in at 2k miles.

I too am considering the VMax, however I haven't heard anything negative about them. Did you read that here? Everything I've read has been extremely positive. Maybe I need to do more research.
