Just an update: Got my car back Monday after 47 DAYS in the shop. They replaced the coolant soaked carpet but Chevy Customer Service refused to replace the mats!!?? Oh well just another step in this journey. Felt great getting my baby back though.
Have an appt. with a lemon law attorney tomorrow, he says it sounds like I have an excellent case. In 2 1/2 years, the car has been in the shop 78 days total so far for 3 exact same failures. I will update when I have more news in a week or two.

Today my windshield fogged up for no apparent reason. At 3:00 in the afternoon. It was 73 degrees out at the time. I have used the defrost a few times this week (in the morning). I need to get this looked at ASAP my warranty is up in January.

Any chance ditching the dex-cool would help? I know that stuff used to leave some nastyness behind. Been looking for a reason. Might have to do it now.

Hey RallyYellowRS,

Sorry to hear your windshield did that in 73* weather! If you'd like any assistance getting your RS into the dealership, PM us with your name and VIN and we can look into it for you!

Thanks,
