Anyone know where to get these in Canada? Looking for various ones (interior lighting, etc). I checked some shops online, mostly from the states (ie: AAC) and some ebay sellers (like high quality bulbs, not some Bangladesh imports) and the shipping is idiotic ($20+USD to ship 3 bulbs, BS).

I have ordered a ton of stuff up from the states and $20 USPS is close to 3 times the 'real' shipping price.

Any ideas?

I don't know for sure, but I imagine that there will be some light vendors at the Camaro Homecoming weekend. Not sure if ACC is making the trip. But that may be an opportunity to at least avoid the shipping cost. I apologize that I do not yet have a confirmed list of vendors.

I will probably end up buying through ACC anyway...... just looking at an alternative.

They all make money off shipping. They charged me 13 for 1 rgb scanner bar and im in the us. So it doesn't really matter.

If you do make sure they have what you're after in stock. I ordered and paid them for a few items at the beginning of the month and I'm still waiting.

CDN SS have you called and talked to anyone there? They've been really helpful every time I've actually called and talked to them.

IronToss, I've been fighting this battle forever trying to find canadian vendors for just about everything. 99% of the time it's cheaper to order it through the states and pay the shipping anyway. I always try to use USPS though, even though their tracking system is garbage, they don't bend you over with brokerage fees. and the dollar is really good right now. AAC's one of the better companies I've dealt with.

Yeah I am pretty sure at worst case I will order from them but the shipping is practically 'equal' to the bulb set themselves, with USPS. It's not $25USD to ship bulbs, sorry, that's BS. I asked them if there are any alternatives, no reply.

I know what you mean, it's insane how screwed over Canadians are getting on pretty much any 'product' out there. The dollar is great right now, ordering a Borla ATAK Catback here very shortly, assuming I will go through the states as up here I'm looking at 'several hundred' more through various locations (not local).

The worst part is I really do believe in supporting the local guy if I can. I would absolutely love to go to a shop and hand a real person my money haha. but everyone around here seems to think the parts they can get are platinum plated and charge a premium for it.

I don't even mind paying a little extra locally for the convenience, but doing sex to me is beyond reasonable.

Yeah I remember when I ordered springs from California for my other car, here locally they were $$$$ where after taking it hard from FedEx and I mean 'hard', almost half the price of the Eibachs in brokerage/shipping it still came out $40-$50 cheaper then local.

At the time I would have just went and got them local as I didn't know brokerage can be that bad but whatever. Good example of how extreme it is.

Buddy here is looking at buying a F250 loaded up, it's not even logical to buy here if you can buy it in the states (saving well over $10,000 on a used one), WTF.

I was looking before purchasing my Camaro locally, at some Corvettes (Z51s) and it was close to $20,000 cheaper then in Canada, some cases even more.
