I don't think that is a stock LSA, the CTS-V doesn't whine that much

It's a very exciting time for a Zed fan
I agree on most points but I don't think they will be at 10 or 11 psi...maybe 8 or 9? JMVHO

I know they probably are still testing different sounds, Hope they go a little louder instead of quiet like they did on the SS.

I was thinking the same thing. It has a nice deep growl, but no bark. Anyway, it does look good going around the track. It looks way more planted than the SS did.

I don't know that there is a video of a production SS running the 'ring. The 8:20 lap was a pre-production version and the suspension refined before production. I also don't want to throw cold water on the speculation in this thread, but I seriously doubt what we are watching is a finished car. My best GUESS is this is another pre-production version of the Camaro that is on the ring for testing and refinement prior to production.

If and when a higher performance Camaro arrives in a Chevrolet showroom I am confident it will be better in every measurable way to the SS. There is no reason for GM to slap a badge on an SS with a tune for 15 more RWHP and call it a Z28. The Camaro out sells the Mustang and has exceed GM's expectations for sales. Chevrolet RESPECTS thier Camaro customers and the Camaro heritage. They will not disappoint us. They will deliver the goods when they are ready.

Enjoy the video. Enjoy the leaks to the press. They have been leaked for a reason.

The LSA in the CTS-V produces 9 psi of boost already.

Orig (2008) Camaro YouTube on the Ring

Just for comparisons. The commentator mixes up some SS and Z28 heritage, but it is obvious the new Z28 is and ANIMAL compared to the orginal Camaro running the Ring!

In 2008.... the 2010 Camaro ran the ring.... here it is (sorry I dont know how to embed the whole video or I would)

I love it haha, i really want the exhaust note of the Camaro bumped up a notch, the GT and GT500s have awsome exhaust sounds but the Camaro seemed a little muffled by comparison. This sounds amazing though
