I finally did it! Just got back from the dealer and ordered my IBM/black int. 2SS/RS 6M with Hurst and black stripe package. What a feeling!! Got it at sticker for $39,249 incl. ttt!! I'm so psyched now. And this is how you guys felt putting in your orders... I can't imagine how I'll be when I actually take the keys and drive that bad boy off the lot!!

Tell me about it! My salesman and the inventory manager at the dealer said I'd be looking to get my vehicle in roughly September or early October. That's 7 to 8 months!! But good things come to those who wait, and all the waiting makes delivery day that much sweeter!

Also, quick question relating to my order. I got the black stripe package. I believe the sticker was $470. Is that the DIO with just the hood stripes, or is that hood and hockey stripes? I don't want the hockey stripes, just the hood/trunklid stripes.

No, actually I'm totally satisfied with my decision. And ya know, I wasn't gonna do it until I felt that way. The only decision I was a little unsure of was the interior color. I didn't know if I wanted the cashmere or black, but I went with black after looking at two IBM Malibus side by side at the dealership with each of those interiors, or similar anyway. The cashmere is very nice and classy, but the black just screams sporty, which is what the Camaro is to me 100%. And I don't really want them to hurry up on my baby. It gives me more time to save up a big down payment, and I want them to take their sweet time so when I pick it up, the QC will be 100% and it'll drive like a well-built solid American dream!

Now if only GM could show us Camaro faithful some extra love this Valentine's Day with a rebate or 0% financing at time of delivery...

Yeah, I found the thread with ALL of the info about the car's options, specs, etc. (except prices). And thanks to that OP. I don't recall who at the moment, but it's a great help!
