Leaded fuel/ higher exhaust temps will KILL the cats.

Whatever GM puts in the car when I do the check ups. It's synthetic but I don't know which brand.

You need to get off the GM oil (probably M1) or you might find something more expensive than cats giving out on your car. Amsoil, Joe Gibbs, Valvoline VR1, etc.

I think it's a combination, plus I'm over 600 hp now. I think there is a fair amount of heat involved too. I cant say for certain, but I was told early on to take the cats out and disable the O2 sensors, which I've already done.
The C16 will definitely ruin cats though being leaded.

Looks fimiliar. Hope it didn't hurt anything. Definitely watch your afr and tune. Cats could have possibly been damaged during tunig, restricting flow. Now no media, could be lean. Had to keep leaning mine out till I found out that the cats were an issue. After gutting them, had to richen up.

It happens. No C16 for me. Just straight 93 pump.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to throw it on the dyno to double check. I'm running C16 only in the dedicated fuel cell that sprays with the N20. Besides that, running high octane pump gas in the main tank.
