What kind of power can this handle? I think 5k for the 9" is crazy. I've been waiting for a cheaper option that can handle 600-700rwhp. Not a big drag guy, but I'd like to know it would hold up If i chose to make a few passes.

Yes Pick A Part I called and talked to them and they guaranteed no damage to parts and only had 3k miles. If the parts are as said I think it was a good deal 2100 with shipping. We will see when they show up.

From what I've heard and read that set up is good to about 800HP, that's plenty for me, the stocker has been holding up with my car so far and I am at 577rwhp.

I would suggest installing Pedders EP1201HD sub-frame bushes and EP1167HD differential bushes with the ZL1 driveline upgrade.
Nice! Is anyone selling as a complete kit?

I know that Dr. Jamie Meyers wanted a 1,000 HP rear end in the stock cars some time ago...

Can't wait to see the price of this kit! I have a feeling that the other 2 drivetrain vendors are not going to be happy...

So if one were to buy (when available) and install this kit, what would be the weak link a 2010 "SS"? The transmission?

And there are those AWESOME machine/black face rims with what looks like a 275/40/20 Pirelli tire. Why won't GM offer this version rim :(?

Here's what I don't get. You can already purchase the ZL1 parts here online (ie, drivetrain). What is the difficult part of swapping the two out?

Its no more difficult than any other 9". Its just that people are scared to piece something together from what I've seen. They'd rather pay double than do their homework like with the CTS-V brake kits.
