Lowering spring choices 2LT - input?

Of all the brands available ... I have some questions.

Some kit's come 1" front and 1" rear. Some are offset 1" front 1.3" rear. And then there are others from 1"-1.4" ... I'd like to see the difference in the rear visually before ordering.

Can someone post pics of their LT V6 drop 1" front and back ... and then someone with 1" front and 1.3" back? I know it's not quite 1/2 an inch difference, but would like to see before ordering. If you have before and after pics, that would be cool too.

Mainly cosmetic appearance for me, I don't plan to do any kind of tracking.

Our BMR V6 Camaro specific lowering springs (SP052) lower the car 1.2" all the way around. We chose this drop height to give the cars a nice aggressive stance without putting too much extra strain on the factory strut/shocks. Here are a couple cars equipped with the BMR V6 Camaro specific lowering springs (SP052).

Will the BMR Lowering springs also fit on the Convertible V6? I have a V6 Convertible 2LT.

See, i can't tell a difference in the rear with 1.4" ... looks the same to me. Then again, we are only talking about a small difference I guess. Wonder if there is any noticeable ride or handling differences in a 1" rear and 1.4" rear drop.

Our BMR V6 specific lowering springs will work for the convertible V6 Camaros just fine. With the convertible cars our springs will lower it slightly lower than the advertised 1.2" drop because of the extra little bit of added weight versus the coupes.

With the V6 Camaros you really need to use the V6 springs on the rear of the car at a minimum because the rear shock on the V6 cars have a different stroke length than the V8 cars which is why people were having issues with the spring popping off the rear shock mounts. For the front you can use any of 2010+ Camaro lowering springs and they will work just fine. What I would really recommend is just sticking our full BMR V6 specific lowering springs because they are designed specifically with the V6 cars in mind.

We don't recommend going lower than 1", if you want lower use coilovers. The factory shocks and struts have a recommended operating range, if you go more than an inch, they start getting real close to riding out of there range, throw in passengers or any weight in the trunk and it definetly takes it out of the normal operating range which will lead to premature shock and strut failure. We have seen quite of few leaking rear shocks on lowered Camaro's, most with lowering springs that are more than an inch.

We recommend the Hotchkis 1" springs when lowering, they have the best ride as they are a progressive rate spring and are tuned for comfort under normal driving conditions and they firm up as you start to push the car.

When you get your BMR springs installed make sure you post up some pictures of your car with its new stance!
